Portland Car Accident Lawyer: Bad Faith for an Adjuster to Disagree About the Value of My Claim?

The insurance adjuster s job is to first of all do a full and thorough investigation. That means they have to gather up every last piece of information that’s available, And they have to do that before they start thinking about what they think.

The claim is worth So if the adjuster has actually gathered up every last piece of information and used all of that information to determine what they think the claim is your claim is worth then they might have a reasonable argument to say that this is simply a Reasonable disagreement over the value of the claim – and that is not bad faith.

However, if it turns out that the adjuster did not do a full investigation, If they were lazy, if they just refused to go out and gather all the information that was available And then they tried to come up with a value of your injuries without all of That information And then they claim that it was just a reasonable disagreement over the value of your injuries.

That is bad faith.

That is a failure to protect you, because they failed to provide you with all of the services that they are required to provide, And then they came up with a number some number that they seemingly had grabbed out of the air.

That is not based on fact, That is a failure to protect, and that is bad faith.
